Elizabeth earned her B.S. in Exercise Science, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina in 2011 and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2014. In law school, Elizabeth was a research assistant to Professor William Quirk and served as a peer mentor. Elizabeth was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2014 and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina in 2016. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Greenville County Bar Association, and South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. Elizabeth also serves in the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates.
After law school, Elizabeth began her career at a civil litigation firm focusing on design and construction law, professional negligence, and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims against law enforcement and other state actors. Elizabeth then served as an assistant solicitor in Spartanburg for over five years and was able to prosecute a wide variety of criminal offenses, including property and financial crimes. In addition to a full docket of criminal cases, Elizabeth also handled the civil asset forfeiture cases in the 7th judicial circuit. As an assistant solicitor, Elizabeth tried multiple cases to verdict, had many contested hearings, and gained invaluable courtroom experience. Elizabeth joined Pracht Injury Lawyers in 2021 as an associate attorney with a focus on personal injury law.
Elizabeth lives in the upstate with her husband and son. She enjoys staying active and participates in USTA league tennis as a player and team captain.
