A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Kerrison Schmutz received her undergraduate degree from Montana State University in Bozeman and obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law.
Kerrison is passionate about helping others and advocating on their behalf. While at the Charleston School of Law, Kerrison gained experience as an Attorney General’s Office extern and a Charleston County Family Court intern. She advocated for neglected and abused children as a court-appointed special advocate and clerked with two Charleston-area personal injury law firms. Kerrison was also active on numerous boards and societies, including the Trial Advocacy Board, the Women in Law Society, the Children’s Advocacy and Family Law Society, and the Adult Guardianship Assistance and Mentoring Program.
After becoming a member of the South Carolina bar, Kerrison practiced family law at a firm based in Spartanburg. Kerrison now joins Pracht Injury Lawyers as an associate attorney with a focus on personal injury law.
